About
A blade. One forge.
FUSA started in 2019 as a side project. A cook with a Japanese-knife habit and a small forge tucked under a railway arch in Bermondsey. The first batch sold to friends. The second to their friends. By 2020 there was a waitlist.
The brand went quiet for five years. Now it's back, with a tighter point of view: one Kiritsuke at the centre, three more knives sharpened for specific work, and a lifetime sharpening service that keeps every blade returning to the forge once a year.
Every knife is hand-forged from VG-10 Damascus, 67-layer cladding, water-quenched and cryogenically aged. The pattern that runs the spine isn't decoration. It's the record of every fold.
We're not trying to be the cheapest knife you can buy. We want to be the last one.
